Call forwarding allows the user to forward a call recieved depending on the call forwarding type to another phone number a user may be at. For instance, a user may choose to have a call forwarded to their cell phone if they are away, or in a business environment forward a call to another user if they are currently on the phone. Call forwarding is supported on Residential and Business seats on the Atheral Cloud Softswitch.
Call Forward, Always
Call Forward, Always has any call recieved by a user forwarded to another phone number or extension. From the users telephone, they must first dial *72 and then the ten-digit telephone or extension the user would like the call forwarded to. To enable Call Forward, Always the user will then dial *40. To disable Call Forwarding, Always the user shall dial *73.
Call Forward, Busy
Call Forward, Busy has any call recieved by the user while they are on the telephone to be forwarded to another phone number or extension. To enable Call Forward, Busy the user must first dial *41 to set the ten digit phone number or extension to forward the call to. Next, to enable Call Forward, Busy the user would dial *90. To disable Call Forward, Busy the user needs to dial *91.
Call Forward, No Answer
Call Forward, No Answer forwards a call when the user does not answer the telephone. To set the number the call should forward to, the user dials *42 and the ten digit telephone number or extension the call should be forwarded to. To activate Call Forward, No Answer the user will then dial *92, and to disable Call Forward, No Answer the user should dial *93.
